Meet Juliet Achieng Omollo, a dynamic Kenyan dance and performance artist, choreographer, and teacher. Juliet is deeply committed to social programming, particularly in empowering the girl child through the arts. She works with various youth groups, using art as a tool for empowerment and self-expression, helping young people find their voice.
Juliet is also actively involved with the Judith Bwire Foundation, which supports vulnerable young girls and women in Kenya by providing essential resources like sanitary pads and encouraging tree planting. Her passion for community engagement shines through her interactive sessions of music, dance, and presentations on topics that matter most to the communities she serves. As Juliet says, “Art brings out the soul.”
In addition to her individual efforts, Juliet plays a key role in Tuchangamke Group as a co-artistic director and dancer, contributing her creative energy to the group’s many initiatives that blend art with social change.
