The Nairobi Festival of Solos and Duets, organized by the Nairobi Dance Forum, has been an annual celebration of dance since 2007. In collaboration with key cultural institutions like The GoDown Arts Centre, Alliance Française, and Goethe-Institut, the festival serves as a dynamic platform for exploring interlinkages in dance development.

The festival celebrates African dance’s historical, spiritual, and contemporary significance, offering workshops, residencies, and performances led by local and international artists. Participants engage with new dance techniques, global influences, and creative expressions in an enriching environment.

International guests include dance companies from Sweden, Nigeria, France, Rwanda, Germany, Cyprus, Tanzania, and Uganda.
